Enhancements:
1.Application’s performance statistics has been added (total number of scanned files, messages, scripts and the number of viruses and suspicious objects detected).
2.Delayed processing of dangerous objects, detected during scan, has been simplified.
3.Possibility to disable system tray icon animation has been added.
4.An ability to update application from incomplete update structure has been added.
5.The mechanism of requesting authorization data in case of authorization error has been added.
6.iCheckerТМ and iStreamsТМ technologies are now used during on-demand scan.
7.An ability to add threats to exclusions from the anti-virus protection scope has been implemented.
8.Possibility to switch between different types of anti-virus database without starting the update task has been added.
9.In addition to simply disabling real-time protection, it is now possible to use various disable options, for example user can disable real-time protection for a certain period of time or until a specified event occurs (application restart, connection to the network, etc.)
10.Microsoft Windows 9x freezing during the system startup has been eliminated.
Known problems:
1.Password for objects is not requested during delayed objects processing.
2.The application freezes while scanning mail, if it encounters problems connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server.
3.Startup objects scan task does not display dialog window, prompting user for action, if delayed objects processing mode is enabled.
4.Incompatibility with earlier versions of Kaspersky Personal Anti-Spam (up to version 1.0.0.25).
